Concurrence (Under Construction)
As an element of the letterpress special topics course “Concurrence: Production Printing” students were tasked with designing, printing, binding, collaborating with illustrators, and other elements of the fine press publishing process to produce the University of Nebraska—Omaha’s annual edition of “Concurrence.”
A unique collaborative endeavor between the School of Art and the MFA Writing program, “Concurrence” is literary portfolio of individual works, in different styles on various types of paper with various types of folding or binding, with a collective cover sheet and end sheet, all together in a clamshell case. Each item in the portfolio features a work of creative writing by a different MFA student at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, including fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. All items are letterpress printed and illustrated by various students, faculty, and alumni at the UNO Fine Arts Press.
